What was the highlight of Hotel Regina
Nice but the rooms need updated.
The location was great... on the peaceful end of the beach. The staff were amazing and the morning breakfast on the veranda overlooking the Ligurian Sea was great. The beach chairs were fine. Parking is a little expensive but there is parking available onsite if needed. It is family-owned and run and they work hard to make your stay nice...and they'd love for you to return. Very kind and helpful staff.
The room was tiny. There were no small lamps just the big overhead light. The room was tiny and faced the street and the train line. It wasn't super noisy but beware there is road and train noise. The walls in the room were so thin we could hear our next door neighbours cough and snore. The meats at the breakfast were not kept up so you got what was left. The spa facilities in the hotel were not turned don but maybe that's because they only run them off they know people are going to use them. Finally, I wanted to get a bambino-duzed gelato from the hotel but I was told I could not buy that small size because I'm not a bambino. Okay then.... no small sizes for those who only want to eat a little bit of that sort of treat.

A perfect place to stay in Alassio
Very nice location. A bit far from the center but quiet and cosy. Private beach. Beautiful veranda facing the sea for the breakfast. We recommend.
